Delete your Bibi account

You can delete your account and personal data at any time. Bibi is published by Nurullahcan; you can reach us at hello@bibitalk.com.

In the app

• Open **Profile**.
• Tap **Delete account**.
• Confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. If it fails — for example because you are offline — the app tells you and keeps you signed in rather than pretending the account was deleted.

What is deleted immediately

• Your name, birth date, gender, country, city, bio, interests, English level and native language
• Your profile photo and your student card photo — the image files are erased from our servers, not just unlinked from your account
• Your matching preferences and your app language
• The users you blocked, and the blocks others placed on you
• All private messages you sent and received — in both directions, so the other person's copy of the conversation is removed as well
• All usage analytics events linked to your account, including events recorded on the same installation before you signed up

What is kept, and for how long

• **Conversation history records** are anonymised rather than deleted: your name and profile are removed, but the fact that a call took place, its duration and its topic remain so that the other participant keeps their own history.
• **Ratings and written feedback you gave** to other users are kept for up to 12 months without your identity, so their rating stays meaningful.
• **Reports** you submitted, or that were submitted about you, are kept for up to 12 months for safety and legal reasons, then deleted automatically.

By e-mail

If you can no longer open the app, e-mail hello@bibitalk.com with the name you used in the app and your user ID (shown at the bottom of the Profile screen).

Because anyone who has talked to you already knows your name, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before deleting it — for example with a screenshot of your profile screen, or a code we show in the app. This protects you from someone else deleting your account. We will delete the account within 7 days and confirm by e-mail.
